I have lived in Moseley since 1980 with my wife and 4 children, (before they flew the nest!). We now have 4 grandchildren.
I was at the founding meeting in the 1990s to set up the Forum and have been on the committee ever since in one capacity or another. I've been Chair or Vice-Chair for over 7 years now.
I've worked hard for Moseley, to try to improve the quality of life and the sense of community - which is why in 2000 I set up and still run (with a fantastic team) the Moseley Farmers' Market.
I have been chair of Moseley Churches - representing Riverside Church - for many years.
I also am on the management board of Moseley B13 magazine and the M.B.A. (Moseley Business Association) committee. I have been (and am) instrumental in a variety of projects such the Christmas Lights, re-organisation of Moseley's boundaries, and establishing SuSMo, and I would really like to see the village centre improved for people by a Shared Space Scheme.
I love living in Moseley: it is an amazing and creative place with an incredible tapestry of life and people. There's no other place like it in Birmingham!
